A heart-warming story about a polar bear cub who is always cold. Pete makes a wish on his birthday that he will always be warm. He goes on a journey to find warmth and eventually ends up in the San Diego Zoo. There he is warm and happy to be the center of attention. However, he soon realizes that being warm on the outside isn’t what matters. He misses his Maw and Paw, and all of his friends, and longs to be home again. The Colby kids help raise money to send Pete home. Pete finally realizes that being cold on the outside doesn’t matter so long as he is full of love and warmth on the inside.
